Lord Bishop
Bishop of Niger Delta North
Born 27 December 1976 in Rumuola, Apara, Obio/Akpor LGA. Trained at St Paul's College, Awka; made deacon on 3 July 2005 and ordained priest on 2 December 2006. Served at Immanuel Church, Choba; St Paul's Cathedral; Church of the Good Shepherd, Ada George; and Emmanuel Church, Okoro-nu-Odo, becoming an honorary Canon in 2012 and an Archdeacon in 2015. Consecrated on 3 June 2018 at All Saints Cathedral, Onitsha, and enthroned in August 2018. Married to Dr Mrs Mercy Oluchi Ihunwo, who leads the Women's Ministry.

Between 1996 and 2021 alone, thirteen bishops were connected with this Diocese — its own bishops, bishops of daughter dioceses, and cross-cultural missionary bishops.
Foundation Bishop of Niger Delta North
Born in 1933 in Okporowo, Ogbakiri, Emuoha LGA. Trained at Immanuel College of Theology, Ibadan, and ordained in 1957. Translated from the Diocese of Niger Delta to become foundation bishop; enthroned on 16 May 1996; retired on 31 December 1999; died on 17 June 2008.

Second Bishop of Niger Delta North
Born 23 August 1948 in Alode-Nchia, Eleme. Enthroned on 7 June 2000 and elected Archbishop of the Niger Delta Province in May 2009. His episcopate is associated with missionary expansion and the creation of five daughter dioceses. Retired 23 August 2018.
